Liverpool’s other cathedral is a stunning example of modernist architecture. Known locally as ‘Paddy’s Wigwam’, the Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral has a completely different feel to its Anglican neighbour, with a vast stained glass crown that fills the building with colour.
