Discovery Zone
Visitors to the Beatles Story can now experience interactive Beatles-themed activities in our Discovery Zone. Using the latest groundbreaking technology, the Discovery Zone allows both young and old to learn about the Beatles' music, the times they lived in and their influential legacy, and confirms the Beatles Story's commitment to life-long learning.
Children have the opportunity to create their very own newspaper, listen to a song at the 1950s NEMS record store, create Beatles inspired artwork and play a Beatles tune on a giant piano.
We've linked the story of the Beatles, their early lives, their fame and combined creativity to selected areas of the National Curriculum: history, literacy, art and music to actively encourage and involve children in their own learning. We've also been awarded a Quality Badge by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom for the calibre of our learning resources.
So not only is the Beatles Story a great day out for all the family, it's an educational trip too.
Please note the Discovery Zone is booked out for school school visits during term time. Please check in advance of your visit if the Discovery Zone is open.
