The Beatles Story have signed up to be part of the Children’s University and have become one of their ‘Learning Destinations’
The Children's UniversityTM www.childrensuniversity.org.uk , is a national organisation with local centre's that aims to encourage children age 7 - 14 to visit places of educational value, outside of school time. Children are issued with a ‘passport to learning' and gain ‘credits' for each activity they take part in - from safari parks to museums and they are rewarded with certificates from the Children's University for their participation. They are then invited to a graduation ceremony once a year in recognition of their learning experiences. Our workshops here at the Beatles Story are a great way for children to collect these credits!
