From Toronto to Liverpool: Choir! Choir! Choir! sing for John Lennon and World Choral Day
Each year on the second Sunday of December, the world celebrates World Choral Day. This year the second Sunday of December is 8th December, which is a date that resonates with Beatles fans across the world as it is the day of John Lennon's death.
To mark both occasions we contacted a Toronto, Canada based choir, 'Choir! Choir! Choir!' to see if they'd work with us to make a video for John. We decided on a Happy Xmas (War Is Over) as we thought the song was a great representative for what John stood for and also very fitting for the time of year.
Nobu Adilman, one of the organisers of Choir! Choir! Choir said: "John Lennon's Nowhere Man was the first song Choir! Choir! Choir! ever sang. Three years later, it's a great honour to join with the Beatles Story on World Choral Day to pay tribute to one of the most influential people of all time."

This Christmas, Choir! Choir! Choir! have combined forces with 'Doctors Without Borders' to create a Christmas charity single with all proceeds going to the Nobel Prize winning NGO. The single is a cover of Wham's Last Christmas and is available to download via iTunes here or just search 'Choir! Choir! Choir' + 'Last Christmas'.
