Punk duo Slaves ended their two day stay in Liverpool with a trip to the world-famous Beatles Story attraction this afternoon.
Having played to a packed out Liverpool Arts Club on Tuesday evening, the band who are set to release their new album ‘Take Control’ on the 30th September, took time out from their current Back In The Van tour, to walk in the footsteps of Lennon, McCartney, Starr and Harrison at the popular Albert Dock attraction.
Nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2015, the band famous for hits such as ‘The Hunter’ and ‘Hey’ are renowned for their British Punk style, however they have taken plenty of inspiration from The Beatles since their formation four years ago.
Formed by Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman, the two-piece band will now go on to finish the final eight dates of their tour.
Laurie Vincent from the band said; “I really enjoyed the tour, it’s crazy to think just how much the Beatles did and how much they did in music even after they broke up.”
