Not to be missed is the latest addition to the city, the European Peace monument – ‘Peace and Harmony’, dedicated to John Lennon. Unveiled by Julian and Cynthia Lennon in 2010 in Liverpool ONE’s Chavasse Park, it’s a place for people around the world to contemplate peace and John Lennon’s role in spreading the message of peace. The second of seven worldwide peace monuments, intertwined musical instruments merge with doves in this fitting tribute, and the incorporation of a white feather is a reminder of Lennon’s spirit.
