xStrawberry Field
Another well-known Liverpool location thanks to the Beatles 1967 hit, Strawberry Field was a Salvation Army children’s home. As a child, John lived nearby and used to go to the summer garden party with his Aunt Mimi. It has been said that this is the place that inspired John to become a musician. You can still visit the site of Strawberry Fields, and get your photo taken next to the famous replica gates.
