Educational Visits

The Beatles Story is a great day out for students of all ages - John Lennon and the Beatles now feature on the national curriculum and can be linked to a range of subject areas including history, music, art and literature.

We've recently been awarded a Quality Badge by the Learning Outside the Classroom initiative, which is backed by the QCA (Quality and Curriculum Association) and OFSTED. Our Quality Badge is a guarantee that the Beatles Story provides the educational content for teachers to build on back in the classroom, and is an endorsement of the risk management structures we have in place here.

School groups can take advantage of our Discovery Zone, which uses the latest interactive technology to bring the story of the Beatles to life. For higher and further education students, the Beatles Story is an ideal case study for leisure, tourism, arts and cultural studies.

Due to high demand and to avoid disappointment, we advise that primary school groups try and book their visit 2 months in advance of the date they wish to visit the Beatles Story.

During busy periods, school groups that arrive late may have reduced time in the exhibition and the Discovery Zone if other school groups have booked the facilities.

If you have any questions about educational programmes please email our Education Co-ordinator and qualified teacher, Shelley Ruck on shelley@beatlesstory.com or call 0151 709 1963

To make your group booking please contact our Groups Officer on 0151 709 1963 (ext 232) or email at groups@beatlesstory.com
