Here are a few different options for how groups might best spend their time at the Beatles Story. They are guides to suggest how long you might need in each area, but your ticket can be used over 48 hours, so visitors can enjoy the attraction at their leisure and don't have to do it all in one day. Our Groups Officer will work with you closely to ensure your trip to the Beatles Story includes everything you want and is a great day out.

Option 1: Half-day trip, visiting both sites

• Two hours in the exhibition
• 20 minute refreshment break in Starbucks Coffeehouse
• 15 minutes to reach the Pier Head site
• 40 minutes for the special exhibition

Option 2: Up to two and a half hours, visiting the Albert Dock site only

• One to two hours in the exhibition
• 20 minutes refreshment break in Starbucks Coffeehouse
• 20 minutes in the Fab4Store

We can cater for groups of all sizes at our Albert Dock site; however we can only allow groups of up to 80 into the Fab4D experience. Visits to Fab4D can be arranged for smaller groups if time allows, but groups will need an additional half an hour for this experience. We recommend Fab4D in particular for school groups and families, but please note that Fab4D is an English speaking film.

Educational Visits

We recommend schools visit the main exhibition at the Albert Dock first, where the majority of learning takes place. This can then be enhanced with the Discovery Zone and Fab4D experience.

Primary schools

Option 1: Three to four hour trip at the Beatles Story, Albert Dock

• One to two hours in the exhibition
• 30 minutes lunch break in the Chill Out zone (and toilet breaks)
• One hour in the Discovery Zone
• 30 minutes in Fab4Store (and toilet breaks)

Option 2: Four to five hour trip, visiting both Beatles Story Albert Dock & Pier Head

• One to two hours in the exhibition
• 30 minute lunch break in the Chill Out zone (and toilet breaks)
• One hour in the Discovery Zone
• 20 minute transfer to Pier Head
• 30 minutes in Fab4D experience
• 30 minutes in Fab4Store (and toilet breaks)

Option 3: Three to four hour trip, visiting the Beatles Story exhibition and Fab4D

• One to two hours in the exhibition
• 30 minute lunch break in the Chill Out zone (and toilet breaks)
• 20 minute transfer to Pier Head
• 30 minutes in Fab4D experience
• 30 minutes in Fab4Store (and toilet breaks)

High school/colleges/universities
