Everton FC defender Yerry Mina visited The Beatles Story this week. The Colombian-born professional footballer took a tour of the exhibition whilst shooting photographs for the club’s official matchday programme.
Mina is the star of the next matchday programme with a suitably vibrant cover shot, taken in The Beatles Story’s replica Cavern Club area. The centre-half was captured during his visit to the Royal Albert Dock attraction playing the drums on stage and singing down the microphone.
Yerry features in the programme detailing his colourful journey from humble childhood beginnings in his hometown of Guachené, to Barcelona, and now Goodison Park, having moved to the Merseyside club in the summer of 2018.
When asked about his experience, Yerry said: “I really enjoyed my visit to the museum. Liverpool is a fantastic city and The Beatles is an important part of its history, so it was great for me, my father and girlfriend to learn more about them. I had a lot of fun having pictures taken and I’d definitely like to go back there again.”
