It’s great to ‘Get Back’ and we know things are a little strange right now. We know you have a number of questions regarding your visit and the following information may assist you further.
What are your opening hours?
In response to the latest Government guidelines The Beatles Story exhibition, Discovery Zone, Fab4 Café and Fab4 Stores are currently closed and scheduled to reopen on Monday 17th May, 2021. Our Fab4 Cafe at the Pier Head is currently open for takeaway only. We will continue to adhere to UK Government advice and please refer to our website and social media channels for more details. Click here for more information regarding our current opening times.
Do I need to pre-book tickets?
We have reduced capacity for the attraction and tickets MUST be purchased in advance of your visit online here. We ask that our visitors follow the current UK Govt guidelines regarding household restrictions. Please select the date and time of your visit in advance, only arrive at your allocated timeslot and have your booking reference on hand to show to our admissions staff on arrival. Please note for anyone selecting a 3pm timeslot that the exhibition will close at 4pm however the Fab4 Store will be open until 4.30pm. To purchase tickets on the day, please speak to a member of our staff on arrival and you will be allocated the next available timeslot, subject to availability.
Why do I need to provide personal details when I book?
In line with government guidance, the personal details you provide as part of booking may be used to support the NHS Test and Trace process to control the spread of coronavirus. For more information on these measures, please contact DPO@liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk.
Are there toilet facilities available?
Toilet facilities will be open for our visitors with a queuing system in place and social distancing will be monitored. Enhanced hygiene regimes have been put in place for these facilities, so we ask you to be patient as queues are more likely.
Will I need to wear a face covering when I visit?
Based on the current government guidance, face masks will be MANDATORY when entering our exhibition or Fab4 Stores. We also ask that visitors please maintain a two metre social distance whilst in our venues. Similarly, we also support our staff in wearing face coverings and/or other protective equipment if they choose to.
Will there be anywhere to leave personal belongings?
Please consider reducing the number of personal items you with you on your visit as there will be nowhere to leave personal items and luggage.
Will the audio media guides in the exhibition be available for use?
Our audio media guides are part of the immersive experience and visitors are encouraged to bring their own earphones or headphones for use with our guides which are available in 12 languages for all visitors. For visitors using our earphones, new cleaning and operating procedures are in place and visitors will also be offered to clean the guides/earphones themselves.
How are you ensuring that we visit safely?
We’ve introduced a number of measures to ensure safety for our visitors and staff for which we have been awarded Visit Britain's 'We're Good To Go' certification. The Industry Standard mark means that the team are following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have the relevant safety measures in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. See our TBS COVID Assessment Report.pdffor more details of our safety measures or Find out more on our dedicated FAQ page.
