Australian actor and musician Alan Fletcher, who is best known in the UK for his role as Dr Karl Kennedy in Neighbours visited The Beatles Story today filming a new documentary.
Alan, from Perth, is a huge music fan and aside from the acting career is lead singer in a band called Waiting Room as well as a successful photographer.
His crew were in town filming for a new eight-part travel documentary series called ‘Photo Number 6’ and were later heading off to shoot at Penny Lane, Strawberry Field and the Cavern Club.
When speaking with staff at the award-winning attraction, Alan said: "It has been absolutely brilliant. I think it’s one of the best museums I’ve ever been to.
"In the white room, the memories of John who was a seminal character in my life flowed back and the tears came. It’s so emotional and a wonderful place to sit and reflect".
