Reopening Information - From Monday 19th July

It's Great to Get Back!
The Beatles Story team are delighted to be able to welcome back our visitors to our award-winning attraction and we want your experience to be as enjoyable as possible. We know you have a number of questions and the following FAQs can help you to plan your visit:

What are your opening hours?

The Beatles Story, Liverpool is currently open daily from Monday-Sunday from 9am-4pm (last admission 3pm).

  • Main Exhibition: From 9am until 3pm. Last admission is 3pm and the attraction will close at 4pm. Please note the Beatles In India exhibition and Discovery Zone is also now open.
  • Fab4 Stores: (Albert Dock) From 10am until 4.30pm. (Pier Head - temporarily closed)
  • Fab4 Cafes: (Albert Dock) From 11am until 3pm. (Pier Head - 10am until 5.30pm)
  • The Discovery Zone: From 11am until 3pm. A range of Summer children's workshops are running through July and August and more details can be found here.

Do I need to pre-book tickets?

We encourage all our visitors to prebook their tickets and time slot online in advance of your visit. For any visitors arriving on the day, please speak to a member of our team and the next available timeslot can be allocated, however to avoid disappointment or having to queue, pre-bookings in advance are strongly advised.

Do I need to scan in?

To support NHS Test and Trace we encourage our visitors to scan the QR codes displayed at our entrance check-in using the NHS COVID-19 App, although this will no longer be a legal requirement.

Are there toilet facilities available?

Toilet facilities will be open for our visitors with enhanced hygiene regimes in place within these facilities.

Will I need to wear a face-covering when I visit?

Based on the current government guidance, face masks will be optional when entering our exhibition, Fab4 Store & Fab4 Cafes, however, we encourage visitors to wear one.

Will there be anywhere to leave personal belongings?

Please consider reducing the number of personal items you with you on your visit as there will be nowhere to leave personal items and luggage.

Will the audio media guides in the exhibition be available for use?

Our audio media guides are part of the immersive experience and visitors are encouraged to bring their own earphones or headphones for use with our guides which are available in 12 languages. For visitors using our earphones, cleaning and operating procedures are in place.

How are you ensuring that we visit safely?

We advise any visitors experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 however mild, for everyone’s benefit, please stay home and come back and visit us when you’re feeling better. We will continue to maintain high standards of hygiene, with hand sanitiser units available, regular cleaning of all headsets and audio guides plus screens in place at all transaction points.
