Merseyside pupils can WIN free Beatles Story trip with ‘All Together Now’ competition

UPDATE (New deadline): We want to give even more schools the opportunity to win a free class visit to The Beatles Story - so we have extended the deadline for our competition. Please submit your entries before 5pm on 14th February 2024.

The Beatles Story, Liverpool’s award-winning exhibition, are giving away 10 free school visits between February and April 2024! Merseyside schools are invited to submit a creative entry reflecting The Beatles and their fame.

‘Come Together’ with your classmates and get creative to make artwork influenced by The Beatles or their music - it could be anything at all, maybe a song, an original dance performance, a piece of art, a poster, maybe a newspaper article? The Beatles Story are giving entrants total creative freedom, so get your thinking caps on and surprise them with something totally unique!

One entry is allowed per class, and the winning schools will be notified via email. The competition is open to local schools in the following regions only:

Liverpool City Council

Knowsley Council

Sefton Council

Holton Council

St Helens Council

Wirral Council

A range of educational resources are available at to support you with your competition entry, covering a variety of subjects linked to the National Curriculum objectives, developed by experienced teachers.

Entries close at 5pm 14th February 2024.

A school trip to The Beatles Story gives your pupils the opportunity to learn about the band that changed music and put Liverpool, your locality, on the map. A visit includes a tour of the award-winning exhibition using child-friendly fun trails to interact with the exhibition and learn more about the memorabilia on display. This is followed by workshops in the Discovery Zone, led by an engaging and dedicated education team. Pupils can play on a giant piano, learn about records and how they were made in the replica NEMs store, and get creative in the arts and crafts area - all while covering many areas of the National Curriculum, from music and history to English and art.

Teachers can get in touch with The Beatles Story’s Education Manager to book a free familiarisation visit.

The Beatles Story recently locked their school group prices to support families and schools on tight budgets during the cost of living crisis and subsequent school budget shortages. The attraction is proud to offer free places for any Pupil Premium children who receive free school meals.

This announcement comes shortly after The Beatles Story won Silver in the Best Experience of the Year, and Bronze in the Best Schools Programme categories, at the British Youth Travel Awards.
