Tito Jackson: legendary singer visits The Beatles Story

Tito Jackson, original member of The Jackson 5 visited The Beatles Story today. His groups, The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons, rose to fame in the late 1960s and 1970s as one of Motown’s greatest discoveries.

 

For over 50 years, the First Family of Pop Music, have been charting hits, and in 2016, Tito joined his brothers and sisters by scoring his first solo hit on the Billboard charts. The singer-songwriter’s single “Get It Baby” from his album ‘Tito Time’ made Tito the ninth and final Jackson sibling to place a solo single in the US charts.

 

 

After taking a VIP tour, Tito said: “I enjoyed The Beatles museum here, it’s quite interesting and very exciting. Some of the memorabilia I remember seeing on TV and in magazines, so to see it in life personally just brings everything into reality. God bless The Beatles, the world’s greatest musical singing group.”

 

Mr Jackson also stated that he had previously met all four members of The Beatles. His brother Michael, who is famous for buying the rights to many of The Beatles’ songs, would often wear ‘Beatle boots’ whilst practicing his routines.

After the tour, Tito took time to have pictures taken with guests and staff at The Beatles Story, and in the evening visited Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club. His new solo album is available to purchase now.
