Join us at The Beatles Story, Albert Dock for an evening with Mark Lewisohn, the world's leading authority on the music and history of The Beatles.
Mark will be signing his new book ‘The Beatles A Hard Day’s Night: A Private Archive’ and taking part in a Q&A in our Fab4 Cafe. There will be two sessions taking place, the first at 3pm - 5pm and the second at 6pm - 8pm. The event is FREE to attend, please book tickets in advance here.
The book, ‘The Beatles A Hard Day’s Night: A Private Archive’, published by Phaidon, brings together previously unpublished ephemera and rarely-seen photographs from a private archive, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s critically acclaimed first film.
From images of spontaneous, unguarded moments on-set and between takes, to scripts and lyrics, the collection captures the infectious energy and anarchic spirit of this celebrated film. This will be available to purchase during the evening.
Mark has authored several other acclaimed books, including the New York Times bestseller ‘Tune In’, the first volume in his trilogy ‘The Beatles: All These Years’, an independent biographical history. He is currently at work on volume two.
The second half of the evening will be dedicated to a Q&A session, where attendees are invited to ask Mark their Beatles related questions. Those unable to attend the event can get involved throughout the evening on Twitter using the hashtag #AskMarkLewisohn.
