Liverpool, 10th February 2026 – The Beatles Story Museum, based at the Royal Albert Dock, has today announced details of its brand new In My Life Memory Café to be based at Liverpool’s Pier Head.

In My Life Memory Café creates a friendly, community-centred space where people living with dementia, their carers, and loved ones can come together to chat, support one another, and re-ignite cherished memories through music and shared activities in Liverpool.

Evaluations made by music therapy charity, Nordoff and Robbins, in 2023 and 2024 found that, among other positive results, 87% of individuals living with dementia found that music therapy enhanced their quality of life. The Beatles Story is set to bring these findings into the local Liverpool area, nurturing precious memories through music.

Through games, crafts and group activities, In My Life Memory Café will transport visitors back into memories of the 1960s and the days of Beatlemania.

Pre-booking is not necessary, and an entry fee of £1 per person includes refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits. All craft and activity materials are provided.

The announcement comes as part of The Beatles Story’s ongoing sustainability and community endeavours, which secured the attraction a silver Green Tourism award in June 2025, which is now quickly heading towards a gold recognition.

In My Life Memory Café sessions will take over the award-winning attraction’s Fab4 Café at the Gerry Marsden Ferry Terminal, Pier Head on select dates.

In My Life Memory Café will run from 10:30am – 12:30pm on one Monday each month, starting Monday 9th March. For full details, see the calendar of available sessions here.

Care providers looking to bring a group of people to the event are encouraged to get in touch at enquiries@beatlesstory.com
