Global Beatles Day is a love letter from the world to The Beatles, and was founded in 2009 to honour the enduring legacy of The Beatles. Celebrated annually on 25th June, the worldwide occasion marks the anniversary of the first live global satellite broadcast, during which The Beatles brought the world together through their performance of “All You Need Is Love.” [source: Global Beatles Day]
