#PaperbackWriter - Teo Boy Curcio

Here's a short story sent to us from Barcelona by Beatles fan Teo Boy Curcio @teoboycurcio titled 'It's Not A Dream'.

It's not a dream

I have been feeling this way for exactly eight days today, I´m sure, it is not a dream.

I walk inside a factory, perhaps an electronic products factory, I go to the exit door that is visible behind an almost endless assembly line. Through the wide windows you can see a sunny park. Everything looks deserted and I don't know what time it is.

But I am sure that I am in 1965, in some state of the American mid-west, and I am a little afraid to be alone. On some tables were some empty Coca-Cola bottles, beyond that detail, everything is tidy and clean; and in silence.

I am at the heart of the engine of a great production source.

But, I'm alone...

Everyone has gone to see The Beatles concert.

In the early days of Beatles songwriting, John Lennon penned 'One After 909', possibly with some help from Paul. It is a simple rock ‘n’ roll song but, like great Beatles' songs, it is infectious and has always been a favourit
