The first book in the series, Maximum Volume, was published in 2017 and lauded by Kirkus Reviews as “an authoritative account of pop-music history and the man who helped shape it.” The second volume, Sound Pictures: The Life of Beatles Producer George Martin (The Later Years, 1966-2016), was published in 2018 and received a starred-review from Kirkus as well as acclaim in Forbes, Mojo and more.
