Every Tuesday throughout August, The Beatles Story will be running summer guitar workshops for children in its Discovery Zone, a fabulous space to learn and be inspired by the greatest band in history.

The workshops are designed for 6 – 11 year olds as a very first introduction to the guitar; how to hold it, learn about the different parts and what they do, how to tune a guitar and learn a few simple chords.

We will be using The Beatles as inspiration, looking at videos of how they play and using this to get a real feel for making your own music in the future.

Places are limited to 8 children per session which will be led by 2 members of the team who are expert guitar players and have loads of knowledge to pass on!

Sessions will take place at The Beatles Story’s Chill Out area on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th August and last 30 minutes from 10.00am – 10.30am and 11.00 – 11.30am.

Guitars are provided for all participants during the session.

Tickets for the workshops are FREE (including an accompanying adult) and must be claimed online in advance here.
