Liverpool Olympic hero Anyika Onuora, who won a Bronze medal at Rio 2016, enjoyed a tour of The Beatles Story this week.
During her visit to the award-winning Albert Dock attraction, the Liverpool Harriers runner heard how four young lads from Liverpool went on to become the biggest band in the world.
The 31-year-old, who is a big music fan, enjoyed the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the Fab Four with her medal, as she followed the story of their rise to fame.
Diane Glover, Marketing Manager at The Beatles Story, said; “We are all very proud of Anyika’s achievement at Rio and it was a real pleasure to welcome her to The Beatles Story this afternoon.”
Anyika said, "I really enjoyed my time at the Beatles Story. As a Beatles fan it was great to learn more about the band, who come from the same city as myself.
"I grew up not far from where some of the members also grew up and it brilliantly showed how four scousers would go on to have such a huge impact on British and world music. It was really a great experience and I will be back again soon!"
