Liverpool FC’s famous forward Mohamed Salah visited The Beatles Story today. The Egyptian born professional footballer took a tour of the exhibition filming for a documentary with American news channel CNN and a ‘Connect the World’ special.
CNN’s Becky Anderson gave Mo a tour of the award-winning attraction whilst talking about his life in Liverpool, all things football and of course, The Beatles. Walking in the footsteps of The Beatles, Becky filled Mo in on the history of the original Fab Four. When asked about his experience, Mo said: “I don’t really have a favourite song, but I have really enjoyed the experience.”
An impromptu concert kicked off in the replica Cavern Club room, with Mo on the drums, Becky on the guitar and a crowd of surprised school children chanting Salah’s name.
Having been playing for Liverpool FC for nearly a year now, Mo has become a crowd favourite at Liverpool and a legend in his own right, scoring goals almost as often as The Beatles scored number one hits.
