Jeff Jarrett: wrestling star visits The Beatles Story

American professional wrestler and promoter, Jeff Jarrett, visited The Beatles Story today. The Tennessee-born Hall of Famer was in Liverpool promoting his appearances at the city’s Comic Con and For the Love of Wrestling events.

Jeff is a huge Beatles fan and is currently signed to WWE as a backstage producer and occasional on-air talent. He recently appeared as a surprise second entrant in the Royal Rumble in which Jarrett proposed a guitar duet with Elias. The duet resulted in Elias smashing a guitar over Jarrett and eliminating him from the match.

When asked about his visit, Jeff said: "From the moment I walked into The Beatles Story experience, you could feel their presence. It’s an incredible visual and audio experience that will take you back in time and take your breath away. The White Room...speechless...and, I’ll be back."

Wrestling fans can meet Jeff and many other celebrity guests from the world of Film and TV entertainment at Comic Con in March and For the Love of Wrestling in April, both taking place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. Find out more here.

Get Back: The rare Harrison guitar returns

The rare Australian Maton MS-500 Mastersound electronic guitar, which recently sold at auction for almost half a million dollars (£312,000), has returned on loan to the Beatles Story.

It is thought that Harrison had borrowed the guitar from Barratt's music shop in Manchester while his legendary Gretsch Country Gentleman guitar was being repaired. It was played only a small number of times during ...self-willed and selfish women who surrounded John as he grew up.
