The Beatles Story is celebrating tonight after jointly winning ‘Individual Attraction of the Year’ at the UKInbound Awards for Excellence earlier this evening.
The 32-year-old visitor attraction, based at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock, was named ‘Individual Attraction of the Year’ during the awards ceremony at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Beatles Story beat off strong competition from the likes of London Transport Museum, Blenheim Palace and Blair Castle, and was chosen as joint winner by an independent panel of judges, alongside Edinburgh-based Mercat Tours, who offer 5-star walking tours and storytelling experiences of Edinburgh's Old Town.
The Beatles Story is firmly focussed on recovery in a post-Covid world, and this award illustrates the successes that the whole team have achieved in rebuilding business, and maintaining the excellent and unique customer experience.
Mary Chadwick, General Manager of The Beatles Story, said: “To be recognised as the ‘Individual Attraction of the Year’ is a great honour, one that I share with the whole Beatles Story team. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for all their hard-work and dedication to our award-winning exhibition and congratulate each of them on this excellent award. Thank you!”
