As Liverpool’s leading Beatles’ attraction, The Beatles Story, joins in with the city’s Eurovision celebrations on behalf of Ukraine, along with the city, they are ensuring that the hardships that people are facing during the country's current conflict are also being recognised and supported through a key charity.

The Beatles Story is proud to be supporting Liverpool-based charity Casus Pax, who deliver vital equipment to the people of Ukraine.

“Casus Pax started operating as an unincorporated association in early 2022 in response to the rapidly escalating crisis in Ukraine. Initially the mission was to record the reality of the refugee crisis and to triage humanitarian aid responses and establish which resources were most needed, where and by whom. These initial investigations and expeditions soon developed into organising the collection, transportation, and delivery of materiel in line with the prior established needs and in such a way as to mitigate the pressures on an unstable logistics network.

Since then, Casus Pax has stayed in close contact with third parties in theatre and has cultivated further relationships with other NGOs, helping to provide aid to hundreds-of-thousands of displaced civilians. It became clear that in order to grow and continue to provide the aid so desperately needed that Casus Pax would need to evolve. In November 2022 Casus Pax was registered as Community Interest Company (CIC), cementing the community directed spirit of the organization as a non-profit company limited by guarantee (14459793).

We are planning many more trips to run desperately needed aid into some of the worst affected areas of Ukraine. On our next expedition we will be taking large quantities of critical care, maternity, neonatal and paediatric equipment. These are quite literally lifesaving pieces of equipment, alongside which we will also be transporting hygiene supplies and food.
