Liverpool, 1st April 2026 – The Beatles Story Museum at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock has today revealed a new addition to its world-class collection, offering visitors a light-hearted glimpse into the daily routine of one of music’s most celebrated figures.
The item, a typed 1960s to-do list attributed to Paul McCartney, was recently discovered during routine cleaning at the legendary Cavern Club. While its origins may raise a smile, the list has already sparked interest among fans for its uncanny resemblance to a well-known moment in The Beatles’ catalogue.
Specialists at The Beatles Story have been taking a closer look at the piece, exploring how it reflects the creativity and storytelling that defined the band’s work during this era.
The list itself features a sequence of tasks attributed to Paul, several of which may feel instantly recognisable to Beatles fans.
A spokesperson for The Beatles Story said the display is intended to celebrate the band’s enduring cultural impact in an engaging and imaginative way, inviting visitors to look a little closer and enjoy the detail.

Mary Chadwick, General Manager at The Beatles Story, said, “Finds like this remind us just how closely the everyday and the extraordinary are intertwined in The Beatles’ story. This simple to-do list offers a glimpse into Paul’s daily routine during an incredibly creative time in music history. We hope visitors enjoy spotting the familiar elements within this piece and discovering that Paul’s day might sound more familiar than expected.”
The artefact is now on display as part of the attraction’s ongoing mission to preserve, interpret and celebrate the story of The Beatles for visitors from around the world.
Visitors are encouraged to take a closer look and decide for themselves just how familiar Paul’s day might seem.
